Story of 3 weekends
Hey everyone, been really busy lately with tests and assignments for the whole 3 weeks, even tho i went out on the weekends but i just didnt have time to blog about it.. so ill be blogging about the whole 3 weekends..XD.. hopefully its not too long to read, but ill try to keep it as short as possible.. :)and it wont be as funny i guess cause my head has been clogged up with my work... cant think... neeed...alcohol... XD.. anywayz.. the first blog will be the oldest one and the last will be the newest one... so here goes...
First Weekend

Best restaurant in Lygon St (currently and according to Jeane)
It was finally a weekend me and Alvin could meet up with Jeane and Xin nee, and it was not me who planned the outing.. but i had to remind them about it.... anywayz.. everything is soo fuzzy now.... what happen ar?? .... oh yah.. i had to go all the way to the city to meet Alvin as i was scared he didnt know where he was since he didnt really stayed in the city, then we went back up to Lygon St to meet up with the gals to have lunch.. and let me tell u what lygon st... its a street where all the expensive italian restaurants are.. and Jeane brought us to a place that had the worse pasta ever.. and like i said... IT WAS EXPENSIVE... well.. it was ok la.. once in a while and its their first time there.. so cant blame them for choosing the wrong place to eat.. we some more had to wait for a long time for the food.. service was kinda terrible.. should ask gordon ramsay to go kick their asses and scold all the F words he wants at them.. haha.. that will be soo cool.. Anywayz.. after lunch, The girls had a craving for more food.... like wow..... they ate more than me.. and they wanted to eat some more.. (hehe.. trying to make them look bad and fat.. :P) but couldnt blame them for that craving cause as u can see from the pictures above.. we went to mercadante.. superb restaurant.. and we kept on asking Jeane why we didnt go there earlier.. LOlz.. and she said she forgot about it.. so anywayz.. we ate some more.. and we ordered the chocolate pizza.. their specialty and it was really really good... (*sorry got no before pic, everybody couldnt wait.. :p*). After that, basically everybody went on their own ways.... but since Alvin hasnt seen the girls room yet, we decided to follow xin nee back to let him see the place( my actual plan was to escort xin nee home to make sure she reached home safely..lolz.. ) and we just basically chatted in her room until evening then me and Alvin left for the city in search for dinner... walked all over the city looking for cheap japanese food, and when we finally found one.. it was cheap and nice but...... the portion was soo small.. luckily we had all ate a lot for lunch, so it didnt really matter.. then we headed back home after that... :)
Second Weekend

Ok, second weekend, my first assignments, all done.. now freaking tests were coming.. =.= .. sad uni life, so.... anywayz.. went to church as usual, went out for lunch with my cousin, didnt plan to have lunch actually but since chung yee also had just finished church, had to wait for her... so went to eat.. then came out of the restaurant after lunch.. we saw a wave of people on the road, at first i thought it was a parade or something but after focusing(*was thinking about something.. :P*.. shh.. secret... haha.. ) anywayz.. back to my story... after focusing, i noticed it was a wave of chinese people singing their national anthem, never in my life have i seen so many of them... wait.... i did see alot of them in Beijing haha.. but its like all the chinese in Australia turned up for this protest...it was amazing to see such a large scale of protest... havent really seen one in my life before to tell you the truth. Anywayz.. i just didnt really care about the protest and continued to go support China with them.... Oops.. ermm.. i meant i went to the library to study.. and there is where i met up with Chung yee.. havent seen her since prom last year.. She still looked the same.. cute.. haha.. :P, so we chatted for a while, listening to her stories... and then we started studying when her friend from hong kong arrived and just chatted in between studying as usual and had lunch again... not for chung yee cause she didnt have anything to eat.. so had to accompany her and then later back to studying then i accompanied chung yee to the the tram stop to make sure she got on the correct one( she doesnt come the city often.. so quite lost.. :P) and safely before i headed home myself..:)
Third Weekend

Finally i have reached the third weekend, pheeww.. got soo much to type.. and im doing work at the same time... so thats why its taking such a long time to finish this post. Anywayz, the third weekend was the most tiring one i guess but it was fun at the same time. Woke up at 8.00 am on Saturday which was suppose to be my wake up late day but had to wake up to help my cousin out with groceries. Went to Footscray and Moonee Ponds to get the groceries, it was amazing to see all kinds of food that were sold including the types the vietnamese eat and most of them actually look like malaysian kuih but they have their own names. After all the shopping we came back and got ready everything and went to play computer games.. XD. Needed a rest... come on people.. i need to rest.. dont think im lazy.. :P . After playing games for about an hour or two or maybe the whole day, its all very fuzzy now.. :P but anywayz all of us had to get ready for the arrival of my cousin's gf and parents. I had to carry everything down to the backyard and then later help cook the sauces. After that, we just waited for them to arrive and when they arrived, the rib - eye was thrown on the the "barbie"( i dont know how to spell it yet) in other words the grill to cook and i was the cook!! i was everything on that day.. lolz.. thats why so tiring.. had to cut the meat in half cause it was too thick and in the middle wasnt really cooked as it was still frozen i think.. and after the scrumptious meal, we had desert made by Kary my cousin's gf... simply sweet and delicious i might say, a bit too sweet for me.. but i liked it nonetheless and the parents chatted after that while i sat there listening to the stories that were told... pretty interesting to learn more things about the world and the experiences they went through while they were young or even in their everyday life. At the same time, while i was chatting... i was thinking whether if this is what i should do for my future gf parent's....is god training me to do all this for the future?? Why was i the one doing all the work? Lolz.. anywayz.. it was a good experience i guess.. learned a lot and had a tiring day... was soooo tired that when i my head touched the pillow i fell asleep straight away and to tell you the truth, that was the only day that i have a great night of sleep...

If they were to join together
This was when i was shopping with my cousin in Footscray, we wanted to have some pork rolls which is basically a small baguette like bun with pork meat, chives, and some other crap. I dont care what they put inside, just as long as it tasted good and this is way better than Subway. According to my cousin, this is the most famous shop in Footscray and sells the best pork rolls and you should see the number of people queing up to get the rolls.... man.... amazing.. but as i was entering the shop i noticed the shops neighbours sign was called "du thuan" and i started laughing because the bread shop name is nhu lan which is a funny name already but imagine if the bread shop was to combine with its neighbour and dont know sell what... they could name their shop "Du lan".. (if u dont understand what it means, go say it to one of your friends to see their reply).. with all their workers in the shop looking "du lan" all the time when they make the rolls for u.. haha.. but seriously.. its a good roll shop.. its really good.. if u come here next time.. ill find a way to get u there.. cause i currently dont know how to get there by public transport.. hehe.. always follow my cousin..
Anywayz.. thats all for this post.. will be back for more when i have time.. hopefully ill post more on Autumn in Australia soon.. its a great time of year now.. weather is perfect.. love it.. sorry dont have great pics of it yet.. still waiting for the leaves in parkville to turn orange and yellow... it will be super beautiful then.. looks like i got to walk there everyday from now on to wait for it to turn those colours to show it to you all... anywayz.. jasonk signing off and riding into the sunset in the beautiful season of autumn.. take care everyone.. and have a nice day!!.. =)
