A SEA OF PEOPLEFORMULA 1 WEEKEND ON A HOT DAY!!
Hey everyone... hope u all had a great weekend.. although i know everybody is busy with their assignments now but hey.. u all have to rest at least one day right? Well.. i decided to have a rest on sunday... although didnt really plan to go to the F1.... but it was an experience and it was really cool.. just the heat wave on that day was really bad.. reminded me of Malaysia or maybe even hell.. i wonder if hell could be that hot or cooler than that day... LOL .. Anywayz.. amazing weekend.. although there was some hatred and... anger in the morning... from Alvin.. but in the end.. think everything would be ok again.. i hope... haha.. XD and its not between me and him...
Anywayz.. after lunch.. me and alvin decided to head down to St.Kilda to EXPERIENCE Formula 1 by sitting outside and listening to the Formula 1 cars past by.. I know its a bit lame doing that.. but F1 tickets are expensive... but after hearing the cars past by a few times.. we decided to go check it out. When we reached there, we noticed tat full time students had a special price.. it was 68 aussy dollars... i know if u convert back to malaysian its still about the same, but in Australia the slogan that is always used is " Dont convert, if you convert than no need to eat or stay here already la". So we decided to splash all our money on the tickets and we literally splashed all our cash that day... After buying the ticket.. we only had 2 aussy dollars left in our wallets.. XD and had no more water.... and IT WAS A HOT DAY!!! We also didnt have sun tan lotion.. luckily none of us got sun burn.. It was sooo hot that everybody was looking for shade or some water cooler's... there was a truck that sprayed water so that everybody could stay cool... and everybody was following the truck and was waiting for the truck to spray water..It was pretty awesome experience i can tell u that.. The sound that was screeching as they passed was wonderful and i was like practically at the side of the road they were running on, so imagine the sound up close... cant imagine right? lol.. thats why ill post a video.. just turn up the volume.. XD .. i was also at one of the corners that had a bad accident.. forgot which driver but it was pretty awesome having to see the wrecked car, lucky the driver wasnt hurt even if he was... ill be taking photos of him too.. XD.. yes.. im evil.. wat to do... i spend money to watch this crap ok.. if there was no action, it wont be worth it.. haha. . XD
In the end. lewis hamilton won the race... both ferari were out of the race and there was only 6 cars out of 22 left.. so it was worth it watching F1 here since it could be the last one in Melbourne as well...
After the race, me and Alvin were just pooped out from the heat wave and decided to head home... on our way out we saw the wave of people heading out, so we decided to just chill back and wait for everybody to go, until we saw a stand giving away free drinks... so with my big ass body and "kiasu"- ness, I went to slug it out with the aussies to get the free drinks.. and i got 3 cans, 2 for me and 1 for alvin... lol.. it was a can of soho lemonade, thats the aussie brand or something.. i dont know... just needed a bloody drink.. Anywayz, after the crows subsided we went to la porchetta's to have our dinner.. basically everytime we meet up, we end up having dinner there.... seems that Alvin loves it since i told him about it.. and to tell u all the truth... its really good.. although i didnt really like the one in the city but it was still really good.. hmm.......... think ill go there today.. XD wahaha..
Yeah... so it was a pretty exciting sunday that week and really enjoyed it and i can tick off another 'wants to do in life'....so anywayz.. have a great day guys... :)... jasonk signing off.... ;)
